Dr. Andrew Matisoff
Dr. Andrew Matisoff is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at Children's National Medical Center and George Washington University, Washington, DC. For the past nine years as a pediatric and cardiac anesthesiologist, he has developed extensive expertise in caring for a wide range of pediatric patients. He has participated in several medical missions as a pediatric anesthesiologist, providing patient care and teaching for Duke/Milagro Hospital Neurosurgery Mission, Kampala, Uganda (July 2008); Hospital Sacre Coure, Milot, Haiti, caring for patients after the earthquake in Haiti and during cholera outbreak (annual 2009-2012); Africa Heart Morocco trip (2014) and Africa Heart Uganda Trip (2017). His academic interests include teaching airway management skills, point of care ultrasound, the anesthetic care of Williams Syndrome patients and medical device testing and development.
