Operation Smile Jordan

Operation Smile Jordan (OSJ) is a national chapter of Operation Smile International. OSJ was registered under the Ministry of Social Development in October 2004 as an independent, legal and financial entity (NGO) .

Operation Smile Jordan is dedicated to helping Jordanian and Arab children who suffer from cleft lips, cleft palates and burns.

Since 2000, with the support of Operation Smile International, and the Ministry of Health, OSJ organized medical missions in Jordan to cater for children from Jordan and neighboring countries. Such mission included Jordanian and international teams of physicians to provide free medical examinations and surgical care to children with facial deformities leading to the treatment of over 3000 children.
